This year the competition was held in the shadow of Namsan Tower at YISS. CDS was being led by Alex Yang and Mark Park and took the largest number of students to YISS. 3 teams were assembled from CDS and having spent the best part of a month preparing they were ready to introduce their business plans that would succeed in a rapidly diversifying Korea.
A long day of presentations followed with all CDS teams having success at some time. However at around 6pm the finalists were announced and CDS team 2 had qualified. What followed was the best presentation of the day by Christine, Seo Joo, Yeongseo and Jongwon complimented by an outstanding Q & A session from Seong Min, Wookjin and Jun.
The focus now shifts to the spring case study contest and its a time for the 12th graders to pass on the lessons they have learnt to younger students. We had one team filled with 11th graders but we will be looking to have more in spring ideally with 9th and 10th grade representatives as well. If you are interested in becoming part of the CDS business program please speak to Alex or Mark.
