On Wednesday September 7th, the varsity girls volleyball team played Dwight for the first time since the 2015 finals. Last year, Dwight got the better of us in the regular season, but we came out victorious in the finals. This year, we were able to work hard and win our first of two regular season games against them. The girls fed off of the support of the crowd as they rallied for a late push in the first set to win 25-17. Unfortunately due to a few missed serves and some unforced errors, the girls lost the second set of the match. After losing their first set of the season, CDS came back hungry and pushed hard to win the following two sets. Youkyung Kwon was able to set up her teammates 27 times for kills, 13 of those going to her sister Youjung Kwon. Alicia Lee helped lead a couple of important runs with 17 made serves and Christine Chun had a strong game at the net.
