The CDS girls soccer team faced off against Kent on Wednesday at our home field. The weather was the complete opposite of their last game, and the girls were ready to put their skills to into action! They kicked off the game and there was a lot of energy on the field! The girls have been practicing their overlaps, trapping, and passing and demonstrated these skills well throughout the entire game. Super star shoutouts go to senior Yihyun Joo who beat her opponents to every ball, and worked hard to bring the ball to her and her teammate’s feet. Junior Hoyeon Cho also held a solid defense, and always did a great job recovering and not giving up on a ball. Junior Youjin Lee and freshman Minju Kim had a great dynamic up top, and worked really well together! Finally, sophomore Yoobin Lee was highly aggressive and has some bumps and bruises to prove it. Unfortunately, the game ended 2-0 in Kent’s favor, but the girls are pumped and ready to go for their friendly match against GSIS on Saturday! If you are in Cheongna on Saturday, please join us at the grass soccer pitch in the park across the street from the school. Thanks for your continuing support!
