This is Sean Lee, the president of the Science National Honor Society(SNHS).
Many of you guys might not know what this society is. As a matter of fact, many of you guys might not have known that this society even existed!
This is because this society was only founded towards the beginning of this school year.
Anyway, for the past few months, the current members of the SNHS have come together to find a way to contribute to the CDS community.
The idea we decided upon was an orientation for the Science AP (Advanced Placement) courses that are offered at CDS.
The courses are AP Biology, AP Chemistry, AP Physics C:Mechanics, and AP Psychology.
Most of our members have taken all of these courses, and all of the members have taken or are taking at least one of these courses.
As a result, we have many tips and strategies that can be extremely useful for students who take these courses in the future.
I strongly encourage the students to come as these tips are extremely useful, and it will help you a ton, for the AP exam in May and for your GPA.
Also, we have personally made study guides that will be extremely useful for these science classes, which will be provided to you if you come.
The date and location is shown below.
Monday, April 9th Lab Time (12:15-12:40)
It's not going to take that long, so please swing by and give the SNHS some of you support!
Also, if you are interested in being part of the SNHS this upcoming school year, please come as we will provide some crucial information for the application process.
*The SNHS is a society that looks great on your college application, especially if you are looking for a career related to science/math/medicine.
